After her successful SOS Tour, SZA finally found the time to catch up with her favorite TV series. On X, formerly Twitter, she expressed her feelings after watching the first season of the Apple TV show Severance.
SZA did not hold back in demanding the new season to be released as soon as possible, and her tweet seemed to find its way to one of the show's directors.
SZA Demands The Release of the New Season of 'Severance'
In a tweet, SZA said: "Was tryna be polite but I really need a new season of severance right the f**k now."
The post has since been viewed by more than six million people and retweeted more than 5,800 times on the platform. Eventually, Severance director Ben Stiller saw the tweet.
The comedian-actor-director responded simply to SZA, saying, "Ok ok got it."
When SZA realized that the Award-winning actor had responded to her tweets, she was surprised.
"Omg please accept my humble apology lmao whenever ur ready is fine just dying of thirst it's the best show ever! ur a madman THANK U mr stiller king sir !" she tweeted in response.
Still shocked by the interaction, SZA poked fun at herself for "bullying."
"Not Im a Stan and got caught bullying ?? Not bullying works ?? Im calling the cops on myself," she said.
As of this writing, the release date for season two of Severance has yet to be announced.

Collider reported in April 2024 that the second season had already wrapped filming after beginning at the end of January 2024.
The show received 14 nominations at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, winning Outstanding Music Composition in a Series and Outstanding Main Title Design. Actors Adam Scott, John Turturro, and Christopher Walken were nominated for their acting performances, while Stiller and creator Dan Erickson received nods for directing and writing.
SZA, Keke Palmer Cast in Issa Rae-produced film
SZA's "bullying" came days after being cast in a still-untitled buddy cop film with actress-singer Keke Palmer in an Issa Rae-produced film.
Rap Sh!t director Lawrence Lamont was tapped to direct the upcoming film, while Syreeta Singleton will write the screenplay.
The film's plot has yet to be revealed. However, Rae and Sara Diya Rastogi will produce the film through Rae's HOORAE. They will be joined by ColorCreative's Deniese Davis and Charles D. King, James Lopez, and Poppy Hanks from Macro Film Studios.
