Moments before his Super Bowl debut, Kaskade, known offstage as Ryan Raddon, stumbled upon his unexpected role as the game's DJ. The sight of the elevated platform, nestled amidst the stands behind the end zone, greeted him just minutes before he launched into a pre-game concert, setting the stage for the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs as they warmed up on the field.

Kaskade shared his surprise and excitement with Billboard, acknowledging that this moment would be shared with the world. As they trailed him through Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on that eventful Sunday (Feb. 11), it was evident that this spontaneous performance showcased his adaptability and readiness for any challenge.

The announcement of Kaskade's role came abruptly, following Tiësto's sudden withdrawal due to a "personal family emergency." Despite the short notice, Kaskade's team had diligently prepared, ensuring that everything was in place for his debut on such a grand stage. Days earlier, while Kaskade fulfilled a prior commitment at Montreal's Igloofest on Friday night, preparations were underway in Las Vegas.

Reflecting on his first set at the Super Bowl, Kaskade expressed relief and satisfaction, noting that the previously mysterious DJ booth functioned flawlessly. "It all works. I'm like, 'OK, it's plugged in, there's power, we're good,'" he shared, highlighting his professionalism and ability to rise to the occasion.

In a whirlwind turn of events, Kaskade's spontaneous performance added an unexpected twist to the Super Bowl experience, leaving a lasting mark on both fans and the artist himself.
