It's official! Rihanna has landed in India, where she's reportedly performing in front of billionaires for the pre-wedding party of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

According to Billboard, the musician arrived in Jamnagar with lots of luggage that she made fun of on Instagram. In photos shared on social media, the Fenty Beauty founder could be seen with things she may or may not be using for her private performance.

Hindustan Times reported that the musician arrived in style as she wore a black top and a pair of dark pants with a black handbag. She also flaunted her long blonde hair.

Since Rihanna is a prominent public figure, she was surrounded by a security team and rode a golf cart to reach the venue.

What to Expect From Rihanna's Private Performance?

Although the performance will not be live-streamed, it was noted by the outlet that the pop star will perform some of her biggest hits as a medley.

Her pre-performance is part of a three-day wedding affair for 28-year-old Anant Ambani, who will get married to his longtime girlfriend, Radhika Merchant.

The event will start on Friday, March 1, with over 1,200 guests in Gujarat.

Although the main wedding will be in July, the festivities began on February 28 as the bride-to-be hosted a communal dinner for over 51,000 people.

Billionaires Will Attend the Wedding

Rihanna is reportedly performing in front of billionaires as some of the wealthiest people in the world are invited to the celebration.

Some people included in the guestlist are Meta/Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg, tech giant Bill Gates, and Indian billionaires Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla.

Bollywood stars and Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, will also be present.

Aside from Rihanna, famed magician David Blaine will perform at the pre-wedding festivities.

As of this writing, it's unclear how much Rihanna received for the private performance, but The Economic Times reported that the musician typically charges between a whopping $1.5 million to $8 million.

It's only fitting for Rihanna to receive enormous amounts of money for a private performance because she last took the stage at the Oscars in 2023. The musician has yet to release a brand new album as of the time of this writing.
