The announcements read, "For your safety, Ultra Friday is temporarily shutting down. Please calmly leave the park now."

The first day of Ultra Music Festival 2024 ended three hours before its intended closing time.

Ultra Music Festival 2024 Postponement Leaves Fans Disappointed

According to CBS News, the postponement left several fans disappointed and disgruntled, as many cited different reasons for their attendance at the Ultra Music Festival.

"I don't see that stopping me. I mean, I got a tank top on and have good music and vibes, as long as everyone's safe, the musicians or the equipment. I guess, if they want it, they want to go on, I'm with it," said Frankie Limon, a fan who traveled from San Antonio to attend the event.

On the other hand, another fan, Carmen Berrio, was disheartened by the announcement because she wanted to watch a performer.

"My first time. I'm very excited. I'm also excited to see Martin Garrix, he's like my favorite deejay in the world. I've been literally listening to him since I was like four years old."

Likewise, performer Hardwell, a Dutch producer, went online to express his disappointment: [We're] "gutted that we couldn't perform for you at Ultra tonight. Get home safe and we'll see you soon."
