Tyrese Gibson is facing increasing backlash after he deleted an Instagram post supporting Sean "Diddy" Combs, the subject of sex trafficking allegations and sex assault cases.

The 45-year-old actor received backlash Wednesday after posting a monochrome image of the rapper along with a long caption complimenting him.

Some of those who read his post couldn't believe that the actor seemed willing to forget accusations against Diddy just because he threw "legendary parties and events" throughout the years.

Tyrese Gibson Supports Diddy: 'Won't Downplay Most Legendary Parties'

"What I can't do and what I won't do is downplay the laughter, the fun, the energy, the inspiration, the awards shows, the studio sessions, the most legendary parties and events I've ever attended in my life," Tyrese captioned the now-deleted post.

He continued: "And I also can't act as if my high school back yard parties throughout south central LA wasn't the craziest parties ever because of the Bad Boy on a slew of hit record[s]."

The actor tried to backtrack a bit by saying he does not seek condone the alleged abuses, but he's not going to forget what Diddy did also for the music industry.

"I don't condone nor do I support abuse, bullying, sexual assault or anything that is currently being alleged," Tyrese stated.

"But, what I can't do is turn the blinds on how much this mean to me and all of us, and what he had done for the community of music and culture," he shared.

The actor also irked some by saying he is not the only one with this sentiment. He did say that he is only the one brave enough to say what many are actually thinking.

He said, "Don't worry, I'm the only one crazy enough to jump out there and say what most of you want to say but you don't have the balls to do so."

Diddy Just Going Through a Rough Patch? Netizens Slammed Tyrese Gibson

Gibson added that the whole thing Diddy is facing is a "rough patch."

"Because it's very normal for people to be going through a rough patch and we all sit back and make a mockery of it, but I'm not gonna to that," he said.

He has now taken down the post entirely, following the criticisms the post garnered.

'Someone should tell Tyrese that when it comes to "going through a rough patch", the overwhelming majority of people aren't looking at Federal sex trafficking investigations after dual raids on their estates by the Department of Homeland Security," one pointed out.

Another said he cannot believe where Gibson is coming from.

"So @Tyrese the alleged sex trafficking of minors is not a big deal because he made some music? How about you send your daughters to spend some time with @Diddy? I mean according to you he's been kind, so let him mentor them."

Many echoed the same.
