A Swiftie took to Reddit to ask the internet if she was in the wrong for choosing to watch Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour concert in Milan instead of going to her best friend's wedding.

Taking to the AITA Thread on Reddit, user Old_Explanation6923 opened up about how she feels in the wrong for choosing to go to Swift's Milan stop of The Eras Tour instead of attending her best friend's wedding.
"Jessy knew that I've booked tickets on that date. She hadn't booked her wedding yet. She got engaged in November and booked her wedding date last month.She had told everyone she'd get married during summer but she never said the exact date up to this point when many people kept asking her so they can know their plans. I booked the tickets this past summer when the tour dates were announced," she explained.
According to the Original Poster (OP), she informed her best friend of the mix-up, but she asked OP to cancel her initial plans.
Upon reminding her best friend of the high fees she would likely have to pay when she canceled her plans, she was told that "she knew but she didn't care because as a friend she'd expect me to do the right thing and drop everything for her wedding."
However, OP was firm on her decision: "I told her I'm not cancelling my plans for something you knew a year in advance I'd do."
Since the post, OP has not been on speaking terms with her best friend, who demanded she send proof that she was canceling everything to attend the wedding before she would speak with her again.
