Taylor Swift seemingly referenced her supposed ex-lover, Fernando Alonso, in one of her songs on the tracklist of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. In response, the Formula 1 star took to social media to react to the song, seemingly confirming their previous romance.
According to Page Six, the Spanish racer was linked to the pop star last year, and the singer seems to have referenced him by name-dropping his team, Aston Martin, on the song "imgonnagetyouback."
After the track went viral online, Alonso shared a video on social media of himself listening to the song while scrolling down an iPad.

Later, he looked directly at the camera and shushed himself before looking down at his gadget again.
"Small talk, big love, act like I don't care what you did / I'm an Aston Martin that you steered straight into the ditch / Then ran and hid," the song's lyrics read.
The 42-year-old racer's video ended without him uttering a single word. As of this writing, the pop star has yet to confirm whether her new track is about Alonso.

Dating rumors surrounding Fernando Alonso and Taylor Swift started making rounds on social media after celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi received an anonymous tip claiming that the two were secretly hanging out.
However, the source added that "nothing serious" was happening in their relationship.
Alonso didn't wholly share details about the rumored romance, but he told the press that he liked keeping his personal life separate from his career as a racecar driver.

However, fans began to speculate, as many believed he referenced the pop star in a five-second TikTok video featuring the singer's song "Karma" from her album Midnights.
Taylor Swift has never commented on the rumored relationship with Alonso.
Taylor Swift is Happily Dating Travis Kelce
A few months after the rumors, Taylor Swift began publicly dating Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. Their most recent appearance was at the first weekend of Coachella, where they watched several music acts from the crowd instead of backstage.
Regarding Kelce's thoughts on his girlfriend writing songs about her exes, a source told OK! Magazine that the NFL player is very supportive of the pop star and isn't the jealous type. "He understands this is a major part of what makes her the person and artist she is," the insider said, "and he is no way looking to thwart the direction she takes."
