Motley Cure is set to start a "brand new chapter" as they announced their new song "Dogs of War," which will be their first track without Mick Mars.

According to Loudwire, fans won't have to wait long to hear new music from the group. Their single will be available for streaming starting Friday (April 26). You can pre-save or pre-add it at this link.

The band took to their official Instagram account to share a promotional photo for the song, which featured members drummer Tommy Lee, singer Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, and new guitarist John 5 as zombies in a post-apocalyptic setting.

"MÖTLEY CRÜE RETURN MARKING THE START OF A BRAND NEW CHAPTER WITH OUR NEW SONG 'DOGS OF WAR,'" they wrote in the caption.

Not John 5's First Song With Motley Crue

Many assume the upcoming song will be John 5's first-ever project with the band since he was announced as a member, but he has already worked with the group.

The outlet noted that John 5 is a close friend of Nikki Sixx, and they previously collaborated on three songs from The Dirt biopic soundtrack.

He co-wrote tracks such as "The Dirt," "Ride With the Devil," and "Crash and Burn."

Motley Crue Signs With New Record Label

According to Blabbermouth, Motley Crue is set to release the new song through its new record label, Big Machine Records.

In an interview with Classic Rock, Vince Neil said signing with the company is an excellent match for them since they already know CEO Scott Borchetta.

"His company just knows radio, how to get it out there, how to get the right people listening," Neil added.

The band's last albums are Saints Of Los Angeles in 2008 and their Greatest Hits compilation in 2009.

Mick Mars Issue

Mick Mars was one of the band's co-founders over four decades ago, but he later got entangled in a lawsuit against his former bandmates after they allegedly ousted him from the band.

According to USA Today, the musician sued Motley Crue for allegedly kicking him out amid his health issues.

His lawyer, Ed McPherson, said in a statement at the time that "Mick has been pushed around for far too long in this band, and we are not going to let that continue."
