Taylor Swift has done it again.

The "Fortnight" singer's new album, The Tortured Poets Department, has set a new record as Spotify's most-streamed album in a week -- and it did it in a mere five days after its April 19 release, the streaming service posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Swift is seemingly setting new records on a regular basis. On its release day, TTPD, became the first album in the history of Spotify to rack up more than 300 million streams in one day, Spotify announced on X. Swift also broke her own record for the most-streamed artist in one day, which she previously set on Oct. 27 with 1989 (Taylor's Version).

Swift now has the record for Spotify's three most-streamed albums in one day with TTPD, which is followed by Midnights and 1989 (Taylor's Version).

She's also setting records with single tracks. The first single from TTPD, "Fortnight," featuring Post Malone, has set the record for the most-streamed song in one day, Spotify announced on X.

Swift isn't only setting records on streaming platforms. TTPD also set a record for the most vinyl sales of an album in one week and it accomplished it in a mere three days, with 700,000 LPs sold over the weekend, according to Variety.

As is the case with her streaming records, Swift broke her own record with vinyl sales of her new album, topping her previous record of 693,000 copies of 1989 (Taylor's Version) sold in one week back in October.

And that release surpassed the previous record holder, which is another Swift release. Midnights, which came out in October 2022 and sold a then record-setting 570,000 copies on vinyl.

However, the vinyl stats come with an asterisk. These records are based on numbers collected since 1991 when SoundScan began keeping accurate sales totals for albums sold on vinyl, CD, cassette and as downloads. It's possible that some albums from the '60s, '70s or '80s, when vinyl albums were still the most popular source for recorded music, may have sold more than 700,000 copies in a week, but accurate tracking numbers on sales of vinyl records were not available at that time.
