Machine Gun Kelly refuses to drop negative comments about his pal Travis Kelce's girlfriend and co-musician, Taylor Swift. No matter if it makes good television to do so.
In the latest episode of Hot Ones Versus, which transforms the conventional interview program into a battle by forcing celebrities to eat progressively hotter wings each time they decline to respond to their rival's spicily posed questions, MGK squares off against his friend and fellow singer Trippie Redd.
Redd mentions MGK's $1 million offer to Travis Kelce in exchange for Kelce leaving the Kansas City Chiefs to play for his hometown Cleveland Browns football team in one question and then dared him to say something scathing about the athlete's girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
MGK Refuses to Bring Taylor Swift Down
The rapper specifically challenged Kelly to "burn that bridge by saying three mean things about her."
MGK grinned sardonically and shared how that would not be a good idea, knowing the Swifties.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you have got to be out of your motherf-ing mind if you think I want any smoke with that fanbase," he joked.
He added that this is not the only reason, though.
"Also, Taylor is a saint and very nice to me, and Travis is my bro," he shared.
"Kiss her feet while you're at it," Redd teases MGK, who responds: "She's very, very nice!"
Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, has known Kelce since they were crosstown athletics competitors while growing up in the Cleveland, Ohio, suburbs.
Apart from sidestepping the Swift query, MGK also addressed his detractors who believed Kelce's $1 million offer was inadequate.
"I said I would give him $1 million spending money on top of whatever the NFL [gives him]. I'm not the f-ing NFL, so I obviously don't have to pay him $30 million or $40 million, whatever. I said I'll give you a bonus," he explained.

Kelly demonstrates his Swift expertise by singing along to "Trouble, trouble, trouble," from her 2012 Red single "I Knew You Were Trouble," while he consumes his hot wings as punishment for ignoring the question.
Kelly and Kelce also interacted in Ohio back in April of last year, when Kelly played at Travis Kelce's first-ever Kelce Jam festival in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
Additionally, in February, following Kelce's Chiefs victory in the Super Bowl, Swift and Kelce snapped a picture at a post-game celebration with Kelly and his then-still fiancée Megan Fox (following rumors of them having broken up, Fox only confirmed that their engagement has been called off, but they are still each other's twin souls. It's not clear what their status currently is).
This year, on May 18, 2024, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Diplo will take center stage on Kelce Jam.
