On May 3,  Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock dropped her fourth single, "Forbidden Fruit."

In this track, the 32-year-old artist hints at past infidelities, suggesting she may have strayed while in a previous relationship to pursue her current husband, Andre Gray.

"Forbidden Fruit" serves as the second release from her highly anticipated debut album, No Hard Feelings, following the success of "Stealin' Love."

"Forbidden Fruit" Lyrics

Leigh-Anne elucidated that the song narrates the serendipitous encounter between her and Andre, describing it as infused with "sweaty, sultry, reggae dance vibes."

While the lyrics of "Forbidden Fruit" hint at a less-than-perfect past, they also speak to the complexity of romantic entanglements and the pursuit of lasting happiness with Andre.

Leigh-Anne sings, "Where do I begin? Woke up in somebody's bed, oh no. Got one I should stay with and one I should stay away from."

She further croons, "He was doing him and I wasn't really innocent, oh no ... Devil in a dress, had you powerless knew it wasn't right soon as we left together."

The final lyric goes, "Broke a couple hearts just to be forever, if they mad, whatever." According to Daily Mail, this hints that Andre could have also cheated.

The lovely pair wed in 2023 and has two twin children, the names of whom they have not disclosed.

Meanwhile, the last football player that Leigh-Anne is believed to have dated for three years, until 2016, the year she met Andre, is Jordan Kiffin.

Little Mix Ruined Leigh-Anne Pinnock's Confidence

While she may have used her own lyrics to "admit" she cheated, her forthcoming solo journey allows her to speak more directly about the toll her time in Little Mix took on her.

According to Leigh-Anne Pinnock, her confidence was "chipped away" while still with the band Little Mix. The successful band consisted of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and originally Jesy Nelson, before her departure from the group in 2020.

In a candid conversation with Will Manning on Capital Breakfast, the singer, now embarking on a solo career, revealed how her confidence was gradually eroded during her tenure with the trio.

On the radio, Pinnock shared, "That was a struggle. I think finding my identity in the group, I think every girl had their thing. Jade was like the cute Geordie, Perrie was this beautiful blonde and incredible voice, Jesy was inspirational, and I was like where do I fit in this?"
