Pearl Jam may be under a completely different genre than Taylor Swift, who mainly sings pop music in the present, but this didn't stop rock icons Eddie Vedder and Jeff Ament from giving the singer props, especially on how she handles her success and artistry.

The two musicians recently sat down for an interview with Bill Simmons on his self-titled podcast, during which they both praised the pop star's ability to constantly release new music.

Vedder first gave the "I Knew You Were Trouble" hitmaker his kudos for having a solid connection to her fans as his daughters are also Swifties.

"She's an artist who's respectful of her audience and I know from my daughter that she's really kind of incredible at planting these little ... hidden codes that they can pick up," the frontman, who attended Swift's concert with his wife and daughters, said.

He added that people listening to her music are activated and suddenly involved in cracking the codes behind her tracks.

"I think it's done in a very creative way - she changes it up and there's talk about what she played that night," he added.

Later, Vedder praised the pop star for the number of songs she had released, saying it was "working so well for her."

The Pearl Jam musician went on to share that his favorite track is a deep cut, but he never revealed its title. However, he clarified that his daughter influenced him with the song from a "B-side" that he thinks is "incredible."

Ament joined the discussion and expressed his feelings over the mega-pop superstar, saying that she has the ability to reinvent the sound of her music by choosing her collaborators and producers.

The bassist's favorite sound of Swift is her songs from "evermore" and "folklore."

The musician then said that he had read a few not-so-great reviews of the "Champagne Problems" singer's music, saying it made sense that she was receiving this kind of attention at the point of her career.

"She's a really good person... And I also hear that she handles stress really well, so that'll come in handy," he added.
