Jason Aldean has been in the country music industry for decades, accumulating numerous awards, millions of streams, and countless sold-out concert tickets, but a big question seems to be popping up: Is he going to be slowing down anytime soon?

The musician recently dropped by Taste of Country Nights to discuss the future of his career and said that he has no plans of retiring anytime soon at all.

"There's still a lot of things that I want to accomplish. You know, I feel like I've been able to accomplish a lot of the things that I set out to do, originally, and more," he said.

Reflecting on his success, he acknowledged accomplishing feats in his career that he never imagined when he first started performing at clubs at the tender age of 14.

Now, three decades into his journey as a professional singer, Aldean stands prepared for what's yet to come.

"For 30 years, I've been doing this, and I've spent most of my life trying to chase the music dream and then you kind of get there, and then it's like, 'All right, now you're in it, what's next?'" he added.

When asked about his possible retirement in the future, he mentioned that since he's a musician, it's a job that's "hard to retire from."

"I may not tour as much as I tour now, but I feel like I will probably always play in some capacity," he added.

However, he noted that the only thing that would make him retire and leave his career is this: when fans no longer want to see him perform, or if he can no longer play on stage as he always has.

He compared his situation with that of The Rolling Stones. He said that despite their age, they're still performing at stadiums, and those are the kinds of gigs that if someone is a part of, it feels like a "lifer."
