Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis Kelce, sees striking resemblances between her son and his girlfriend and the pop sensation Taylor Swift in terms of their traits.
She says both stars are "friendly" and "generous."
The mom gushed during the May 8 episode of the "Martha Stewart Podcast that both stars are "loving, caring individuals."
Travis and Swift, both 34, have been in a relationship since the summer of 2023. Initially keeping their romance low-key, they publicly solidified their bond the following September when Swift attended one of Travis' home Kansas City Chiefs games with Donna.
During the podcast, host Martha Stewart even wished Donna "good luck" with a chuckle, perhaps acknowledging the unique situation of two big stars navigating being in love right in front of the most active fandom ever.
"Well, you never know," Donna replied, per US Weekly. "Time will tell."
While Donna refrained from delving deeply into Travis and the Grammy winner's romance, she couldn't help but express her admiration for the tight end himself. The mom even claimed that Kelce is no stranger and is not aloof about being famous.
"He's a fashionista [and takes pride in his] image and what he looks like, but not so much to be perfect. It's more to get to put a smile on people's faces at times," Donna added. "I mean, he'll dress the way he needs to, but most of the time he's doing it to make people laugh or to talk. He loves being the center of attention."
It seems that Martha Stewart couldn't resist gushing about the "lovely" Taylor Swift during this candid chat with Donna, despite being informed that discussing the singer was off limits during their recent interview.
According to Daily Mail UK, the 82-year-old TV personality, delved into the topic of the Grammy-winning artist, 34, during Wednesday's episode of The Martha Stewart Podcast, despite being "begged not to."
At one point during the show, Stewart revealed the prohibition. She told Kelce, "I know I was begged not to mention Taylor Swift, but I just want to say, you always look so great with her in the box when she was at the games with you."
Switching the conversation back to Donna, the renowned businesswoman told Donna that she was a "really great mom." She even said that Donna was "our mother of the year."
