David Beckham believes Travis Kelce has what it takes to navigate the intense scrutiny that comes with his relationship with Taylor Swift; just like he was able to with his relationship with his wife, Victoria.

During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, May 8, Beckham was asked for advice for Kelce on handling the spotlight. Drawing from his own experience, the British athlete found himself under similar scrutiny when he began dating his now-wife, former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham.

"Do you ever talk to, like, Travis Kelce and say, 'Hey, man, here's what you have to expect'?" Jimmy Kimmel asked his guest.

David confidently responded the Kansas City Chiefs tight end can "handle it" just fine as much as Swift can do so.

He previously opened up about the struggles he faced during the early years of his and Victoria's relationship through his October 2023 Netflix docuseries, Beckham.

"I think that surprised a lot of people," he said. "Through that time, it was difficult."

The comment resonated with what Travis' mom, Donna Kelce, said about Taylor's boyfriend and his desire to have the attention.

The matriarch revealed on a recent episode of the "Martha Stewart Podcast" that Travis "loves being the center of attention," so he likes it when people look at him because of his fashion sense.

In a prior interview with The Mirror, senior therapist and relationship expert Sally Baker from "Working On The Body" discussed the impact of Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn's relationship on account of Swift's fame.

Baker highlighted how societal expectations and traditional gender roles can pose challenges in such scenarios. She noted that relationships where women hold more prominence than men often encounter similar issues.

"Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez, Taylor Swift, and Joe Alwyn were all in high-profile relationships where the women were arguably more famous and successful," the expert explained. "It's essential to note that fame isn't just about success-it's a lifestyle that comes with constant scrutiny, pressure, and a lack of privacy."

Taylor and Joe's breakup first emerged in April 2023 when a source told People they called it quits after six years of dating. At the time, the insider said the "differences in their personalities" led to the split.

In addition, Joe reportedly "struggled with Taylor's level of fame and the attention from the public" while also growing apart from Taylor.
