Drake shared a somewhat cryptic post on Instagram at the height of his explosive rap feud with Drake.
On Instagram, Drake shared a snippet of the Netflix series A Man In Full, in which lead actor Jeff Daniels mulled over the idea of death, on Instagram Stories.
"I don't mean this as a criticism. Maybe I do. But when you die, will people notice?" the actor said in the shared snippet. "When I go, there are gonna be a lot of memories of me by a lot of people, many who hate me. Even so, a person needs to live with vigor. Otherwise, what's the point?"

Fans expressed that Drake's new post signals that he's waving a white flag already. However, some said that he might be just fishing for sympathy. "Someone needs to tell Drake just cause he lost the battle the world ain't over. He's still part of the Big 3. He just ain't #1 and that's ok," a user wrote on X.
One theorized, "He's definitely behind the phone with tears rolling and an empty pint of Ben and Jerry's in his lap." "Fishing for sympathy. Don't move through the industry like a slime ball then be mad when it turns on you," another said," echoing another "Playing the sympathy card is definitely a sign of defeat."
"Again he has to use someone else's words and thoughts to express how he feels because he doesn't write or have an identity," a user slammed.

"All am saying, is I hope this is a lesson for Drake, he has been out of touch with black culture or the important issues. He is too big to ignore those issues and also has morals and codes. I still ride with him when he raps," a Drake fan debated.

Meanwhile, hip-hop veteran Questlove expressed his opinions on Drake and Lamar's rap feud, declaring, "Hip-hop is truly dead." "Nobody won the war. This wasn't about skill. This was a wrestling match level mudslinging and takedown by any means necessary - women & children (& actual facts) be damned," he wrote on Instagram.
"Same audience wanting blood will soon put up 'rip' posts like they weren't part of the problem. Hip Hop truly is dead."
