Sophie Turner broke her silence about "the worst few days of my life" after her shocking divorce from Joe Jonas.

In September 2023, Turner confirmed her split from The Jonas Brothers member after four years of marriage. They later issued a joint statement detailing that they "amicably" made the decision.

In her new interview with British Vogue, the 28-year-old X-Men: Apocalypse actress opened up about her experience as rumors about her being an irresponsible mother spread. The reports at the time suggested that her unhealthy partying lifestyle caused the split.

"I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn't leave. My kids were in the States and I couldn't get to them because I had to finish Joan. And all these articles started coming out," she revealed. "It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother - mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, 'None of this is true. You are a good mum and you've never been a partier.'"

Turner admitted how unfathomable the number of people who would "make s--- up" after the announcement was. However, she clarified that it was not her story at all.

The Another Me star continued, "It felt like I was watching a movie of my life that I hadn't written, hadn't produced, or starred in. It was shocking. I'm still in shock."

Amid her struggles, the cast and crew reportedly gave her the support she needed.

"They were my emotional support people, my family," gushed Turner. "I really don't know what I would have done without them," she continued. "If something like this had happened to me 10 years ago I don't think I would have had the same support. I just feel very lucky to be alive in a time when people are open-minded. Thank f--- for Gen Z."

Still, Turner admitted she had no idea if she could make it on some days, saying she was never strong enough to stand for herself. But with her love for her children, the matriarch said she found strength to move forward.

Turner and Jonas share two daughters, Willa and Delphine.

She previously filed documents asking the court to "reactivate" their divorce. According to the filing obtained by Page Six, the pair could not reach a settlement agreement over the custody of their children.
