Taylor Swift's second stop on the European leg of her The Eras Tour was nothing but "magical." After her three-night sold-out show at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, the global pop star thanked her loyal legion of supporters.

In a celebratory post on X, formerly Twitter, Swift thanked her Swedish fans after breaking the Friends Arena's all-time attendance record.

"Stockholm!!!! Thank you for being the most generous, excitable, magical crowds, and for breaking the all time attendance record for the stadium all 3 nights. Can't believe this was our first time playing in Sweden - but it won't be our last...," she said in a post, alongside photos of her performing in new clothes for her Europe leg.

Swift addressed the record-setting attendance on the first night of The Eras Tour Sweden on May 17, 2024.

"My mind is absolutely blown for several reasons looking at this crowd tonight," Swift said, as USA Today reported. "First of which is that I have never gotten to play a show in Stockholm before, and my first show looks like this. You have made this the highest attended show ever in this stadium."

While Swift did not mention how many fans were in attendance at the Friends Arena, the venue's website stipulated that it could host 60,000 people "depending on position and layout of the stage."

Swift attracted a bigger crowd in Stockholm than Beyoncé when she kicked off her Renaissance World Tour in the same venue in May 2023.

Swift amassed more than 180,000 attendees across her three shows at the Friends Arena. On the other hand, Pollstar reported that Beyoncé only raked in around 90,000 on her two shows.

Swift has something new to offer her European fans, as she added an entire The Tortured Poets Department era to her setlist. Of course, the surprise song selection is even bigger.

Capital FM reported that Swift performed "My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys" and "The Alchemy" for her acoustic set at her Paris concerts and "Guilty As Sin?" and "How Did It End?" as her surprise songs for the Stockholm concerts.

After her Paris and Stockholm concerts, Swift will perform two nights at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 24 and 25, 2024.
