Frank Ocean's second studio album, Blonde, placed No. 5 on Apple Music's Best Albums of All Time list, and her mother couldn't be more proud of it.

On Instagram, Ocean's mother, Katonya Breaux, congratulated her son on the amazing feat.

This child sure knows how to make his momma proud!" Frank Ocean's mother, Katonya Breaux, captioned her Instagram post about the placement. "I first said wow son, you are among the greats but quickly retracted and said 'no, you are a GREAT!' Here's to my Frankie!! #blonde."

Ocean's Blonde was the only album released in the 21st century that ranked within the top five of Apple Music's Best Albums of All Time List.

Apple Music's Zane Lowe described the album as "music put on canvas."

"I look at the canvas through different light at different times of the day, depending on how I feel. And I see strokes of color I never saw before or even knew existed. There's so many layers and thoughts and emotions and hooks and ideas that all somehow make sense differently every single time," Lowe said of the album.

Notably, the album was four of the only albums released after the 2000s on the upper region of Apple Music's Best Albums of All Time list. Beyoncé's Lemonade ranked No. 10, Amy Winehouse's Back to Black is at No. 8, and Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city is at No. 7.

Ocean's album edged out Stevie Wonder's 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life, as the album only ranked No. 6. Meanwhile, Blonde was placed at No. 5, just below Prince and The Revolution's Purple Rain, The Beatles' Abbey Road, Michael Jackson's Thriller, and Lauryn Hill's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Ocean has since been elusive on social media and to his fans. After his Coachella debacle in 2023, fans have not heard from the "Nike" singer. After reportedly heeding doctors ' advice, he infamously canceled his headlining set in Coachella 2023's second week.

Pitchfork reported that he had suffered from two fractures and a sprain in his left leg. Ocean's first-week performance was also marred with controversy and backlash as fans complained that the singer had only performed on a poorly lit stage on a stool.

More so, his performance was not streamed on Coachella's YouTube livestream, and it ended abruptly after he was informed of the festival's curfew.
