Jhene Aiko is gearing up to hit the road with the announcement of her Enter The Void tour with SZA and The Internet. The big reveal follows Aiko's missed #DefJam30 concert performance.
According to Vibe, the tour kicks off on December 12 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California. More dates will be announced at a later time.
Earlier this month, Aiko and SZA may have hinted at their upcoming tour via Twitter. The Souled Out songstress tweeted the "Teen Spirit" singer "you ready?" SZA responded "as f--k."
With that sort of gumption, this tour should be a hit. Tickets for the L.A. tour stop are available here.
Def Jam recently celebrated its 30-year anniversary with a massive blowout at the Barclays Center featuring performances by Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, DMX and Foxy Brown. Aiko was slated to perform during the concert but says her show was canceled following an assault by a staff member.
As reported by Billboard, she explained what happened on Instagram in a now deleted response to a fan.
"@ladiidestiny unfortunately me and my camp were told to 'get the f--k out' by 'workers' while I was waiting to go on stage, ....after this 'worker' (male) physically assaulted a member of my management (female) ....we had to leave due to the disrespect and hostile environment. If there's one thing I can't rock with, it's disrespect.... if me and my band members were any of the rappers that were performing there, we would have never been talked to or treated in such a way. I'm sorry that I was unable to perform for you tonight.... hope to see you soon!," she wrote.
Stay tuned for updates.
