Ty Dolla $ign, real name Tyrone Griffin, has recruited some of the leading up-and-coming ladies in pop right now, Tinashe and Charlie XCX to assist him on his new single "Drop That Kitty," which is available to purchase and stream now.
Ahead of his long-awaited Free TC album, Griffin teams up with Tinashe and Charlie XCX to ask ladies to "Drop That Kitty." Produced by hit-makers Stargate and Cashmere Cat, who just had his collaboration with Kanye West, Sia and Vic Mensa "Wolves" premiered by West during New York Fashion Week, Charli XCX provides the hook with her punk-pop voice and delivery, while Tinashe croons her own verse and pre-hook with $ign bringing it home with the main verses.

There are no further details as to whether or not "Drop That Kitty" will be a part of Free TC, but it is hard to imagine something this polished wouldn't end up on the album. There is no concrete release date for the LP as of yet, but it could arrive as soon as March or April.
In an interview with Rap-Up, Ty Dolla spoke about the inspiration for the album and why it means more then just a piece of music. The album is named after his brother, who according to Griffin was wrongly put in prison.
"It's for a purpose," he said about the LP, "He's locked up for something that he didn't do. It's many people out here that get injustice, as you've seen Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, everything that's happening on the news right now. It has a purpose. It's gonna be the biggest album of 2015."
