Music and musicians are the go to for advertising. If an artist raps or sings about a brand, the value of that product almost immediately sky rockets. Taylor Gang front man Wiz Khalifa knows all about branding, after making a name for him self his rolling papers and other marijuana paraphernalia, Wiz is cashing out on another one of his favorite brands, Converse.
The "Work Hard, Play Hard" rapper tempted fans a while back hinting at his sneaker line with Converse and Foot Locker. Now as the August 23 launch date draws near Wiz and his team are prepared to give fans a sneak peak.
Wiz tweeted in March, "Finally got my converse deal!!!" Wiz tweeted. "Im fuccin amped! I did an add for my boys but this sh-t here is MAJOR."

In addition the Converse sneaker line, the new dad is also preparing for the release of his third solo album “Blacc Hollywood,” which is set to come out this fall.
