Ray J is Returning for Second Season of 'LHHH' After Emergency Meeting with Producers

Earlier this week we heard that Ray J was going to be leaving Love & Hip Hop Hollywood after only one season because he blamed the show for his relationship with Princess Love unraveling. Ray believed that executive producer, Mona Scott was only showing the dysfunctional side of his life with Love and leaving the good stuff on the editing room floor. In the last few months Love has grabbed headlines for making suicidal threats and also for being arrested for domestic violence against Ray. While even his family isn't a fan of their relationship, Ray insists on trying to keep things together, and apparently VH1 wasn't ready to lose him just yet either.

According to a report by TMZ, "Ray J hashed out his problems with the show's creator, Mona Scott, at dinner Wednesday night ... along with his girlfriend, Princess Love. We're told Ray J asked Mona to show more of the good parts of his and PL's relationship. Mona agreed, but insisted on keeping some drama on cam too. She knows what pays the bills. In the end, we're told Ray agreed to more balance -- and just to seal the deal, Mona sweetened the pot with a new contract that includes ratings bonuses." says an insider.

It's true that Ray seemed to pop up onscreen only when their was hostility or drama going down last season. Either his relationship with Love really is that awful or else producers killed them in the editing. If the latter is true then no wonder he quit. Do you think that there is a lot of positive stuff between this couple that we'll get to see in season two? When you look back on Ray's relationship history, he seems to favor volatile women and from what we have seen, Love certainly fits in that category.

Do you think that Scott panicked to hang on to Ray because he is the biggest name connected to the franchise's Hollywood show? Were they wise to wheel and deal with him? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
