Harry Styles Urges Fans to Boycott SeaWorld, Finds Friends in PETA

Harry Styles of One Direction has millions of fans across the world, but he recently added those in PETA to the lengthy list of admirers during a recent gig in which he urged concertgoers to boycott SeaWorld.

During Thursday's performance in San Diego, Styles addressed the crowd with the matter at hand, essentially explaining there was only one direction to run in: away from SeaWorld. "Does anybody like dolphins?" he asked, as shown in a video taken by Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams. After the crowd's faces lit up with excitement and cheers echoed through the venue, he added, "Don't go to SeaWorld." Arya Stark posted the clip to her 1.2 followers on Instagram with the caption "You heard him ladies and gents. Don't go to sea world."

PETA took to its website to expand on Style's comments, revealing that the group will send Styles a care package filled with a "SeaWorld Kills" shirt and a box of dolphin-shaped, vegan chocolates to show its enduring gratitude.

On the other hand, SeaWorld took matters into its own hands by inviting Styles to come visit the part to see what it's all about for himself. "We care for the animals in our parks like we would our own family. We are committed to making sure their lives are enriching and they are continually engaged socially, mentally and physically. And, we also care for dolphins in the wild," SeaWorld noted in a letter posted to its website, addressed to Styles. "We invite you to see for yourself, and then decide based on facts. We are happy to open our doors, take you behind the scenes, and have our trainers and vets answer any questions you have."
