Afrojack has released the music video to "SummerThing!", his new single with Mike Taylor. The video takes the "Ten Feet Tall" DJ off the festival stages, he has inhabited this summer, and his Los Angeles and Amsterdam studios and out into the desert of the Western United States with a large group of young, attractive co-eds to party.
The group of individuals grows as the video goes along and they add some outliers such as a token dwarf and an old guy in a straw hat. They manage to get an inflatable slide, a pool and a bus out to this seemingly abandoned and decrepit desert "town" where Afrojack DJs and Mike Taylor signs to the masses. In what may be the biggest crime of them all, the individuals fill up a beautiful old convertible with water to swim in.
A couple gets married, though it could just be a "summer thing" and they drive off in the car filled to the brim with water.
Watch the video below and try not to turn your car into a pool. Grab the single on at your favorite online vendor here.
Afrojack continues his very busy summer that saw him DJ not once at Tomorrowland two weekends ago, but four times. He performed for the pre-party on Thursday and then again each day, including once as Nick van de Wall. His tour continues this summer with a litany of club gigs in Las Vegas, Ibiza and various islands in the Mediterranean, capping off the month at Creamfields in the UK.
We recently had the chance to catch up with Afrojack on the phone in between studio sessions in Amsterdam and there is some pretty exciting news about an upcoming project of his we can share.
