Axwell / Ingrosso, Pusha T Release 'This Time' For Charity

Axwell / Ingrosso: This Time

The track is almost split up into two very distinct sections. There is the opening refrain which has a similar sound to "Can't Hold Us Down" with its heavy electro saws, thundering bass line and heavily distorted vocals "this time we can't go home." Then it almost stops on a dime and switches up into hip-hop tempo with Pusha T barreling through the speakers with lines like "In a world where you're surrounded by the plastic / free your mind and just lose it / no test drive, just do it."

"This Time" was first premiered at Governors Ball in June 2013 and after many iterations and rough demos that were played on the radio and during their live set, it was finally ready to be released to the world now. The pair gave the track its official unveiling at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in October in a creative way. As shown through this video, they set up a bunch of fake crows in a square that started playing the song at noon as a large banner unfurled, unveiling the charitable message of the song.

Axwell / Ingrosso have teamed up with the United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees (UNHCR) to donate all of their single sales profits to the organization in an effort to try and help out the lives of refugees around the world, notably those fleeing conflict in the Middle East towards Europe. Their efforts specifically focus on displaced children. "We want to recognize the fact that so many innocent children across the globe are refused the basic right to go home in a time of chaos and commotion," says the duo.
