LeBron James gave us a sample of his rapping skills with his viral freestyle of Kanye West's and Jay Z's "N*ggas In Paris," earlier this year, but it was no surprise that he is a fan of rap. Now Bron Bron is putting his rap expertise to use as the musical director of NBA 2K14.

"2K is letting me take control of some important elements in NBA 2K14, including this year's soundtrack," James said in a statement. "I love that I'm the first NBA 2K cover athlete to choose the soundtrack."

The Miami Heat hero handpicked 20 songs, which include Drake's "Started From The Bottom", Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight", Daft Punk's "Get Lucky", Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us". He also nabbed Jay Z, Kanye West, Gorillaz, The Black Keys, Eminem, Nas, Coldplay, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, Robin Thicke, Fly Union, Imagine Dragons, Jada Kiss, John Legend, and Puff Daddy. No reports yet if he plans on including his own raps, Consequence of Sound reported.
