What is going on here? That is the first reaction when you finish up watching this video. Skrillex, Jauz and Fatman Scoop have released the music video for their 2015 collaboration "Squad Out" and it is as trippy, weird and riveting as one might expect from these minds.

The video goes into the twisted animated mind of director Adam Fuchs, who is known for his work on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Ugly Americans and music videos with the likes of Neon Indian, Flying Lotus and more.

Animated versions of Jauz and Skrillex find themselves in an elevator in the at the mercy of animated Fatman Scoop who unleashes the bass and the elevator drops on a plantary scale, bouncing from one planet to the next. They are guided by two of Scoop's scary-looking minions who push the elevator buttons to the beat, potentially a dig at button pushing DJs.

Fuchs describes how he found the inspiration for the video and it is not all that exciting.

"There was this really great moment that happened before starting the video... I woke up from a deep sleep on my couch to a late night talk show on my TV," Fuchs recalls. "They were airing a bit that had a fake Skrillex battle-rapping with Mozart and I was so exhausted, I didn't quite know what I was watching. It was one of the weirdest and most confusing things I've seen in a long time. I knew at that moment, I had to make something that could be viewed in the same way I saw that skit. I hope I accomplished that."
