Natalie, Nika and Nicole Taylor, the triplets from Wade, Mississippi that make up Red Roots have released a new music video for "Straight Shooter." The song is the latest from their album, Triplicity and the sisters say that it's about choices in men. When the album released in January, Nicole talked about the song with Gulf Live's Gareth Clary, saying, "It talks about how a lot of girls like bad boys on television or in the movies. We’re saying like the good guys, guys that are honest, putting God first, that don’t lie. We’re looking for the good guys."

The fact that the 22-year-old sibs prefer good guys over bad boys is a testament to their Christian upbringing and faith. The girls were introduced to music in church and started singing there when they were about five. Learning to play instruments wasn't far behind and despite some early mis-steps, by the time the girls were 13, Nicole played the drums, banjo and bass, Nika played mandolin and guitar and Natalie played keyboard, violin, bass and accordion. Their first album released in 2011 and Triplicity is their third release.
