Word on the block is that Jenny from the block, his gearing up to hit he American Idol judges panel again! With the departure of Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Randy Jackson from Season 12, Fox has been on the hunt for a big name replacement, and who better than J Lo, who helped skyrocket ratings from 2010 until her 2012 departure. According to several sources J Lo has reached a deal with Fox signing a $15 million contract, Deadline reported.

Lopez is set to be going Keith Urban and Ryan Seacrest on the show, to help boost ratings that were lost due to NBC's The Voice. Lopez was an Idol judge during the 2011 and 2012 seasons of American Idol and was reportedly courted during the 2013 season as a possible replacement for judge Mariah Carey, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Although Deadline has confirmed J Lo's deal is complete, The Fox network declined to comment on the report, but according to The New York Times blog, the network's entertainment chairman, Kevin Reilly, said last week that Ms. Lopez had been in the mix as the producers plotted a new panel of judges for this long-in-the-tooth but still-popular singing competition.

Jennifer will be one of three Idol judges for Season 13, as the show will revert back to the original format of three judges. Since Keith Urdan will return that leaves one seat left. Do you believe the rumors that will.i.am will join the panel as well?
