Governors Ball 2016, or the two days of it, are completed and now fans can start to get over the fact Day 3 never happened and can relive some great memoires from the festival. We were there to capture those moments with a camera. Some performances included The Strokes, M83, Bob Moses, Miguel and more.

Though the festival was canceled on Sunday due to the threat of severe thunderstorms that never transpired, attendees got to see some great music on Friday and Saturday. Rain was not forecasted for both days and ironically fell lightly on Friday and then heavily on Saturday.

Highlights from the weekend included De La Soul, The Knocks, The Strokes, The Killers and Miike Snow making the most of the rain. Randall's Island seems to have the habit of bringing some bad weather luck, but Governors Ball delivered on its first two days. Check out the slideshow above to see what happened.
