Bad news for Bon Iver fans in Europe. The 22, A Million artist has canceled his upcoming 2017 European tour dates due to "personal reasons."

In a note posted to his Twitter, Bon Iver shared the news about his European plans or lack thereof.

In the note, they wrote that all tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase and none of the tour dates will be rescheduled at this time. Bon Iver, real name Justin Vernon, does assure his fans that he will be back, though does not give a timeline. Vernon also doesn't give any specifics as to what those "personal reasons" might be.

In addition to the European tour dates, he is also canceling an appearance on A Prairie Home Companion on Jan. 14.

The tour was originally slated to being in Paris on Jan. 22 and then end on Feb. 20 in London with a five shows in six nights -- three at the Roundhouse and then two at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith.

He has canceled these dates, but he still has festival gigs coming up in 2017 including Coachella, Primavera Sound and others.
