R&B singer-songwriter Khalid collaborates with Ty Dollar $ign and 6lack for his new single "OTW," his solo effort since last year's widely praised LP American Teen.

The 20-year-old has been guest-starring in other artists' tracks in the past year. He was previously involved in "Billie Eilish's "Lovely," and Sabrina Claudio's "Don't Let Me Down."

In February, he also released a track titled "Love Lies" with his close friend and Fifth Harmony member Normani.

New Track

In "OTW," Khalid turns up the heat by singing, "Put it in drive, I'll be outside, I'll be on the way/ You can meet me in five, I'll be online, I'll be all day."

The track basically follows a man who is on his way to a female's house for a booty call. His collaborators, Ty Dollar $ign and 6lack, have continued the themes of hook up and driving in their own verses.

"Riding down the coast/ I want that for sure," raps Ty Dollar $ign.

"You was in park but I just put your shit in drive," recites 6lack.

More Collaborations

This new song will not be the first and last from Khalid in the coming months. While the singer has not confirmed if he is working on a new album, he teased more collaboration coming in the near future.

At the announcement of nominees for this year's Billboard Music Awards, the "Young, Dumb, & Broke" singer teased that he is working on a new material with Martin Garrix. He also admitted that he is inside the studio non-stop working on a new but still unannounced project.

Khalid is also nominated for Top New Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Maler Artist, and Top R&B Album at the BMAs 2018.

On Twitter, the young musician has also exchanged tweets and invited the electronic music duo Odesza to collaborate. A few days ago, the two acts agreed to record a new tune together, although, they have not revealed when the track will drop.

Khalid is about to head on to a North American trek next month. He will be performing with the boy band PRETTYMUCH, which has made a major mark in the mainstream music industry with their hit singles "Would You Mind" and "No More."

The tour will kick off on May 1, Tuesday, at the Theatre of the Clouds at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. He will also stop by and perform in Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Austin, and Toronto.

Tickets are now available via his official website or Ticketmaster.
