Pepsi taps The Chainsmokers to cover Michael Jackson and Beyoncé's songs and give it an EDM flavor. The partnership is part of the soda brand's summer marketing campaign.

Pepsi also announced that it will be releasing limited edition cans featuring the photos of some artists like Jackson, Britney Spears, Ray Charles. All three icons previously teamed up with Pepsi as brand ambassadors.

The Chainsmokers's EDM rendition of some classics will be part of the duo's upcoming performance at the Pepsi Generations Summer Music Campaign at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on July 24.

Alex Pall Talks About Upcoming Pepsi Show

Other than remixing Jackson, Beyoncé, and other singers' hit songs, Alex Pall and Drew Taggart will also perform their most popular tracks, namely "Closer," "Roses," "Don't Let Me Down," and more.

"We're kind of nervous. But lucky for us, they have an endless amount of songs that are extremely popular that people love to hear. We just have to figure out how to remix everything in. I think it'll be a cool experience for us. We don't get to play a lot of Ray Charles at our shows," said Pall.

When asked what songs they will cover from Jackson and Beyoncé, Taggart said that nothing is finalized yet. However, they will most likely perform "Thriller" because they also sang the track last Halloween. The duo will also most likely sing "Single Ladies" and "Run the World (Girls)."

Drew Taggart Grateful For The Opportunity To Sing

Taggart also expressed his excitement over The Chainsmokers's upcoming live performance. He said that what they are about to do is something that they have not done before. This is why it is a great opportunity for them to share their talent.

"It's a long list of people we get to choose from that has made some of the most important music for our generation - two generations," said Taggart.

Tickets for the Pepsi Generations Summer Music Campaign will be available starting Wednesday, June 13.
