Fans are wondering if Justin Bieber throws shade at Shawn Mendes in his new song "No Brainer." The track serves as Bieber's collaboration with DJ Khaled, Chance the Rapper, and Quavo.
In "No Brainer" Bieber seemingly talked about his fiancée Hailey Baldwin. The two just got engaged earlier this month. Mendes is Baldwin's rumored ex, and fans are convinced that Bieber slammed his fellow artist in the song.
Bieber's part in the song starts with him talking about a girl who stuck out in the crowd making it not hard for him to choose her. Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend also asks the girl who she would choose between him and the other guy, and Bieber said that it should definitely be him.
Shawn Mendes Didn't Date Hailey Baldwin
Two months before Bieber and Baldwin got engaged, the supermodel was photographed with Mendes at the Met Gala. Fans immediately assumed that Mendes and Baldwin were dating each other, but Baldwin said that they are just friends.
During the same interview, Baldwin said that she has been having a hard time finding someone who has the same morals as her. She mentioned her then ex-boyfriend, Bieber, and then deleted all of her posts with Mendes on her Instagram account.

In June, photos and videos of Baldwin and Bieber vacationing in Miami circulated online. This was the first time that the two of them hung out publicly after their split in 2016. Following their engagement, Mendes revealed that he texted Baldwin to congratulate her.
"I texted Hailey the day of, and I said congrats. That's what it is. I think everybody wants there to be more - there's not," said Mendes.

As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Bieber really threw shade at Mendes in "No Brainer." It is also possible that the former was talking about all of the other guys that may also be interested in his fiancée.
In related news, Bieber and Baldwin also made headlines this weekend after they were spotted canoodling in New York. The couple was photographed aggressively kissing each other while at Williamsburg's 12 Chairs Café.
Bieber and Baldwin have been packing on the PDA ever since they reunited two months ago. They hugged each other at the Domino Park and kissed at the Brooklyn Bridge Park by DUMBO House. The couple also waited for the sunset at the Rockefeller Park.
