Nickelback and Nirvana fans are pooling their resources together to launch a campaign to encourage Chad Kroeger to headline a Nirvana show. As of late, nothing has been finalized.

A Facebook page called Be Reet created an event called "Nirvana Reunion With Chad Kroeger From Nickelback On Vocals." At first glance, the show's title seemed to be legit. However, a disclaimer below states that the event is just a campaign.

Even though Kroeger is not confirmed to headline a show with Nirvana, the creators of the event proposed a date and venue for the concert. The proposed event is scheduled for Jan. 1, 2019 at Nirvana Hair in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Fans React To Fake Chad Kroeger, Nirvana Show

As of the event's posting, thousands of people have clicked on the going option, and hundreds also chose the maybe option. However, it is important to note that no such show has been confirmed to take place next year. One publication noted that the event posted was simply a way of trolling Nirvana and Nickelback fans.

If some fans are excited about the idea of Kroeger performing with Nirvana, there were also a few that said that this type of show is a bad idea. One of the fans wondered why Kroeger would have to lower himself by performing with Nirvana. Another person said that Nickelback and Nirvana have different music styles.
