After a stunning turn of events, Cardi B pleaded guilty to the assault and misdemeanor charges she was accused of in 2018 yesterday.

The controversial case was not a new thing as it has already sparked huge buzz at the time Cardi was reportedly arrested in New York.

Four years later, she has pleaded guilty to the charges. Now, a particular video has emerged, taken during the year Cardi was arrested, eerily confirming the story that was now proven true.

Cardi B 2018 Misdemeanor, Assault Case Explained

In August 2018, TMZ got a hold of a story that Cardi B had ordered an attack on Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York - particularly on two sister bartenders Jade and Baddie Gi.

Reportedly, Cardi B has accused Jade of sleeping with his husband, Offset at the time. The bartender claimed that 5 people associated with the "Invasion of Privacy" hitmaker had viciously attacked her that night. Bottles and chairs were allegedly thrown at them, with Cardi chucking one at her and her sister Baddie.

The two suffered injuries but were denied medical treatment. Cardi eventually turned herself into the police and receive a summons.

Four years later, she now accepted the plea deal.

Did Nicki Minaj Predict Cardi B's 2022 Conviction?

Twitter was in a huge buzz when photos of GRAMMY-winning rapper Cardi B surfaced, clad in a white hugging dress, serving looks before accepting the plea deal on the misdemeanor case.

During the chaos on Twitter, a particular video emerged, dating back to 2018 - a recording of Nicki Minaj's outburst pressing Cardi B of actually inciting the crime in Angeles Strip Club in Queens, New York.

In the recording from what seemed to be from a Queen Radio episode in 2018, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B's longstanding rap rival, seemed to be going off about how the two female bartenders, on which Cardi directed attacks, suffered what seemed to be the fault of a man, in this case, Offset.

"You mad at a woman for what a man is doing. And that's the problem with so many black women, and woman period," Nicki passionately exclaimed while also suggesting that Cardi refers to black women as "monkeys" and "roaches."

At the time, it was not confirmed that Cardi was actually the one who caused the ruckus at the bar, with the newly taken plea deal, it just meant that the Queen of Rap was right all along.

After the fiery outburst that Nicki had, she strengthened the beef between the two of them during those times.

To make matters more interesting, Nicki even got Baddi G and Jade, the bartenders that Cardi attacked in 2018, as video vixens  in her "Good Form" music video.

Since taking the plea deal to two misdemeanor charges and third-degree assault and reckless endangerment, Cardi B will be punished with 15 days of community service. (via Variety)
