Offset, Takeoff's co-member in Migos, broke his silence following the tragic and untimely death of the rapper.

On Friday, Takeoff's family, friends, and fans came together to celebrate his life after the rapper died in the November 1 shooting incident. While most of them broke their silence over the devastating event already, it took Offset quite some time to process the news and comment on the death of his cousin.

Through a heartfelt Instagram post, the "Bad and Boujee" hitmaker said his death does not feel real at all. Alongside the short caption is a letter he personally penned to Takeoff and several photos and videos of them together.

"The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can't find the words. I've been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it's reality, and reality feels like a nightmare," he said.

Offset also expressed how much he wishes he could still hug, laugh, smoke, and perform with the "Open It Up" rapper for one last time.

He ended his post by delivering his "I love you forever" message to his late family member and friend.

His post came after the family held a special event for Takeoff at the State Farm Arena, where they honored his legacy. The event, which was a three-hour sendoff, welcomed several notable people who paid tribute to Takeoff personally.

Yolanda Adams, Chloe Bailey, and Justin Bieber were among those who performed at the Celebration of Life ceremony.

More People Honored Takeoff

Aside from Offset, several artists and Takeoff's colleagues took their time to offer unique tributes to the late rapper following his death.

On Tuesday, Gucci Mane released a music video for his new single, "Letter to Takeoff." He showed his broken heart in the song, rapping the lines, "Just left another funeral, I shed a tear / I'm still in disbelief, I can't believe it's real ... like how the f*** we gon' lose Takeoff, damn he didn't deserve it / We don't suppose to question God, but damn, Takeoff was perfect."
