Selecting someone to play someone else in someone's biopic film has excited many people on the internet for so long.

Especially with the growing prominence and liking of worldwide audiences to entertainment icons like Freddie Mercury, Aretha Franklin, and recently, Elvis Presley, selecting someone to play a celebrity's life in a biopic is a big thing in Hollywood.

John Legend Biopic

In a candid conversation with Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the EGOT winner opened up on who he thinks could play him in an upcoming biopic of him somewhere down the future.

Jokingly, Legend shared that any light-skinned baby could probably play him down the road.

"Everyone puts their light-skinned babies up and they all think, 'My baby looks like John Legend,' because I have cheeks and dimples and a lot of babies look like me," he said. "Basically, my biopic will happen 30 years from now, and one of the Internet babies will play me."

While Legend is true that a biopic about him isn't due for another three decades in his career, Cooper suggested a seemingly good fit to portray Legend with justice.

She suggested that "Bridgerton" and "Dungeons & Dragons" actor Regé-Jean Page would be the right candidate to play the singer.

Page clearly has the acting chops to give justice to Legend's charisma and charm onstage.

Meanwhile, when the topic turned to her wife, Chrissy Teigen, Legend had a more direct answer.

Chrissy Teigen Actress in John Legend Biopic

According to the 12-time Grammy Awardee, Olivia Rodrigo could probably pull off Chrissy Teigen in a biopic about him 30 years in the future.

Rodrigo isn't new to acting. She started her Disney Channel career as an actress before gaining prominence in the music industry. She starred in "New Girl," "Bizaardvark," and even "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series," where she played the main character for two seasons.

The "drivers license" songstress isn't actually a bad pick to play Teigen, as both of them share the same roots and ancestry.

Teigen is part-Thai, while Rodrigo is part-Filipino, both hailing from Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, Legend also touched on the topic that, if still permitted, they could still play themselves in the biopic, just like 50 Cent did on "Get Rich or Die Tryin.'"
