One of the biggest dating and/or hook up rumors involving the biggest boy band in the world, One Direction, has to be the story of Niall Horan allegedly spending a night with "Made In Chelsea" reality television star Louise Thompson. The rendezvous made it onto the show, though only through texts, hints and characters alluding to the Irish pop star. Neither side has confirmed nor denied the rumors, until now. Niall is taking a stand against the rumor, calling it "ridiculous."
Gossip news outlet, The Sun, ran the story with a source telling them the alleged details:
"Louise has gushed about Niall for weeks. She says he has the Irish gift of the gab and is very open about him being her celebrity crush It started with jokey comments on Twitter, but now they text each other all the time. They were on the phone last week when he suggested she go over and sent a car. It was secretive and exciting."
This news caused a lot of trouble for both parties, specifically relationship woes. Niall had been rumored to be dating model Zoe Whelan at the time, and once news broke the two stopped seeing each other. Whether or not Whelan was Horan's girlfriend, this Thompson rumor led to them calling off whatever they had going on.
"She told him she wasn't happy about the Louise headlines and they had to hammer things out between them," a source told The Sun back in June. "She is a young girl who likes Niall a lot but told him she won't be taken for a mug either. They both agreed that things are so busy with One Direction that they will just stay in contact and see what happens. Niall knows Zoe has been thrown into his world and wanted to chat to her about the stories in the papers. He knows she has been getting hassle online too and wants to look out for her."
"Over the past few weeks her modeling career has become huge, but Niall hasn't been in contact to say well done. She hasn't even had a text from him, let alone a call, for nearly two weeks," a source recently revealed to The Sunday Mirror. "It is all over for Niall and Zoe - and it is completely because of his side of things."
Plus Thompson had been dating her reality show co-star Andy Jordan at the time. The rumors helped the show, but Jordan took a stand against his girlfriend hanging out with the pop star, allegedly banning her from ever doing it again.
But Niall claims that he had only hung out with Thompson once and that the rumors are untrue.
"One meeting turned into a big story, which is ridiculous, so that's the end of that," he explained. "You struggle with who to trust and who not to trust."
