Will The Weeknd be on Coachella 2023? The question kept popping up on Twitter as the singer posted some cryptic tweets that confused (and enthused) his fans all at the same time.

Notably, The Weeknd performed last year at Coachella 2022 as a last-minute headliner along with Billie Eilish and Harry Styles.

The Weeknd on Coachella 2023

In a flurry of tweets posted last night on his Twitter account, The Weeknd seemed to hint at something big in the coming days.

In one of his tweets, The Weeknd just posted a desert emoji with a question mark - which many of his fans thought to be an ode to the "desert," the same place where Coachella is usually held.

Shortly after, The Weeknd also posted another cryptic tweet.

"where will you find me?," he said.

With the last one, it is quite more suggestive that the two tweets are linked together - possibly hinting that he might appear at Coachella over the weekend?

A fan noted that Metro Boomin would be performing on April 14 and April 21, the opening day of both weekends. For those who don't know, Metro Boomin' and The Weeknd linked up on their hit single "Creepin'."

While nothing has been confirmed yet, it could be highly likely that Abel might be giving a surprise performance on Metro Boomin's set.

Surprise guests at Coachella are fairly popular. Last year, Justin Bieber shocked everyone when he appeared on Daniel Ceasar's set and performed their Grammy-nominated song "Peaches."

Coachella 2023 Headliners

This year, Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean are the slated headliners at Coachella 2023.

It is quite a historic feat for Bad Bunny and BLACKPINK as they were the first Puerto Rican and Korean acts to have been headliners on the biggest music festival in the United States, respectively.

Supposedly, Kanye West, Billie Eilish, and Harry Styles were slated to perform last year. However, West pulled the plug on his performance last year at the last minute because of sources undisclosed to the media. Reports say that he has not prepared for the said set.

When The Weeknd was contacted last minute, he even had to haggle a higher price, saying that he would pass if he would not be given the same offer as West's.
