The first time the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival got a glimpse of how powerful BLACKPINK was back in 2019, when they were first invited to perform at the event.

They surprised the entire crowd with an amazing performance, stunning visuals, and undeniable charisma and stage presence.

Over four years later, they once again took over Coachella-but this time, as headliners of the event. The South Korean girl group performed for two weekends in a row.

Despite achieving prestigious awards and gracing some of the world's biggest music stages, BLACKPINK is still in shock by the warm welcome and great reception they received at the music festival.

"Still feels surreal that we did this!" The four-membered group wrote on Instagram. "Thank you @coachella for having us!"

"And to all BLINKs out there, we could've never done this without you guys. We are forever grateful," read their post. "Thank you again for these unforgettable two weeks and hope to see you all again!"

BLACKPINK Take Over

Not only has the world been taken with KPOP and Korean television shows as well as Korean food and cosmetics, but they have also been taken with BLACKPINK, in particular.

During their performances, the girls could not help but reflect on how-or who-brought them to one of the most coveted music festival stages: their fans, BLINKs.

"This is a dream come true," said Rose during their first performance. "The reason why all four of us are here is because [of] all of you."

BLACKPINK performed several songs across their two-weekend set, including some of their early releases "Whistle" and "Forever Young."

They also performed some more recent drops like "Pink Venom" and "Shut Down"; as well as their solo releases: a medley of Rose's "On The Ground" and "Gone," Lisa's "Money," Jisoo's "Flower," and an unreleased Jennie song titled "You & Me."

Fashion Style

According to reports, even the girls' outfits caused quite a commotion in Coachella, as well as fans who were not able to attend.

They were seen wearing custom David Koma, Jimmy Choos, Mugler, and POSTER GIRL.

The girls are known for being fashionable and have been invited to make several fashion week appearances over the years.

They are also brand ambassadors of some of the world's most biggest brands like Jennie for Chanel and Calvin Klein; Jisoo for Dior and Cartier; Rose for Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co.; Lisa for Bulgari, Celine, Mac, and Prada.
