Janelle Monae is ushering in a new era in her music career. The "Glass Onion" actress is continuing her music career after a break from it for quite a while. She has recently announced the "The Age of Pleasure" tour dates, a week before releasing her actual album of the same name.

Announcing the "The Age of Pleasure" tour dates on her social media accounts, Monae is set to kick things off in Seattle, Washington, as she makes her 26-city trek across the country and some shows in Canada.

Janelle Monae 'The Age of Pleasure' Release Date

Janelle Monae's upcoming fourth album, "The Age of Pleasure," release date will be on Jun. 9, 2023, via Atlantic Records.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Monae revealed that the album will be very much inspired by the "sounds of black diaspora" happening then and now.

"Seeing all of us together in our Blackness, in the love that we had in our eyes for each other. People from the continent f-k around with trap from Atlanta. You know what I'm saying? I love how the diaspora - we talk to each other," she told the publication.

Monae recruited Doechii, Grace Jones, Sean Kuti, Egypt 80, Amaarae, Nia Long, Sister Nancy, and CKay as her collaborators on the upcoming album.
