Britney Spears' Ex Sam Asghari NOT Planning On Challenging Ironclad Prenup

Although it's been rumored that he is planning to challenge the prenup drafted by Britney Spears' team, her soon-to-be ex-husband Sam Asghariclaims otherwise.

According to a report by The Messenger, Brandon Cohen - who serves as a rep for Sam - stated that "there are many unfounded claims that accuse him of attempting to exploit his former wife with videos."

"There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos," the model's rep Brandon Cohen reportedly told The Messenger for a Thursday, August 17 report."

The statement from the former husband of the "Toxic" singer was released via Instagram stories.

"We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other, and I wish her the best always. S--t happens. Asking for privacy seems ridiculous [sic], so I will ask everyone, including media, to be kind and thoughtful."

In a surprising turn of events, the romance between megastar Britney and Sam began while shooting the video for her smash single "Slumber Party" back in October 2016.

Five years later came their engagement, but sadly was followed by a heartbreaking miscarriage. Despite this tragedy, the couple tied the knot with a lavish ceremony at their home in June 2022.

At the start of August 16, 2023, news broke that a well-known couple had gone their separate ways following an intense confrontation.

Sources close to Page Six reported that the personal trainer once employed by the pair attempted to secure a financial settlement from the "Baby One More Time" hitmaker larger than previously established in her prenuptial agreement.

Furthermore, he threatened to release private information about Britney unless his demands were met.

In December of 2021, Sam had already revealed a side of him that exemplified his deeply-rooted protective instincts for Britney. Speaking with HollywoodLife, he shared that his recent surprise for her was none other than their newest addition to their pet family: Porscha.

"I figured we need a bigger dog that is a protector, and I love [Britney], and Porscha is indeed just perfect. She's absolutely beautiful".

On August 16, news broke that Sam had initiated the breakup of his marriage to the "Circus" singer by filing for divorce. The filing showed "irreconcilable differences" and detailed July 28 as their split date.
