Rapper 6ix9ine had another run-in with the police - but this time it's overseas - in the Dominican Republic.

The embattled rapper has faced multiple charges before, including robbery, assault, and breach of contract.

6ix9ine Arrested in Dominic Republic

According to TMZ Español, Tekashi 6ix9ine, has been arrested in the Dominican Republic for allegedly beating music producers.

Per the outlet, the "GOOBA" hitmaker was arrested Sunday night in the province of Samana, specifically at the Balcones del Atlántico Hotel in Sanchez.

Information about the case is still not available. However, according to surveillance footage on the area of the incident, 6ix9ine was accused of beating up some music producers and other men after allegedly causing a problem with his new girlfriend, Yailin.

6ix9ine apparently got jealous when he arrived at the studio, seeing Yailin with music producers, and spending time together.

In true 6ix9ine fashion, he attempted to flee the country after the beatdown. However, the charter flight intercepted him as they followed protocol and held him down. He was served with a pending arrest warrant, which per immigration laws in the Dominican Republic, could be a reason for him to be removed from the plane.

In another video taken near the police station when 6ix9ine was booked in the Dominican Republic, a crowd of fans stormed him as soon as he alighted the police vehicle, up until he entered the police building.

As of this writing, it is not known yet what 6ix9ine was charged with or whether he would be deported back to the United States.

Videos of 6ix9ine's arrest and booking went viral on social media. Check the footage below.

6ix9ine Sued By Breach of Contract

TMZ also reported that earlier this year, 6ix9ine was sued by Streamusic for breach of contract.

Supposedly, 6ix9ine has to "perform two musical concerts" and post promotional videos on his Instagram feed and stories in December 2021. However, he only took the $150,000 upfront payment and bailed on the contract and the work.

6ix9ine has since been sued for $2 million in damages, asking for "compensatory damages no less than $1 million and for exemplary or punitive damages of no less than $1 million."

As of this writing, it is not known yet whether he has settled this case or not.
