Responding to one of her fans' requests, Latto shuts down the idea of collaborating with A-list celebrities instead of unknown artists.
Latto, already a Grammy-nominated rapper, has been collaborating with up-and-coming artists in her past few records, which prompts her fans to lose support because of the alleged declining quality of her music.
Latto Fans Divided On Her Collaborations
In a Tweet, one Latto fan mentioned the rapper in hopes of possibly listening to their sentiment.
"@latto girl we love you but you need to stop doing collabs with these unknown artists enough is enough, as fans we want to see you win and this will get you nowhere and a latto feature is losing its value. no more babydrills, luh tylers and whoever this is next era please," a person tweeted.
Many agreed with the user's point.
"I believe she's just getting these features out the way but it's affecting her value. We want solo singles and collabs that will benefit her career and her growth and her upcoming album," a user lamented.
"As a fellow Latto Stan it's okay to just want the best for Latto. We want Latto to succeed and keep elevating. Latto has gotten so big in this year alone it's crazy. So keep going up Latto we love you," someone said.
"I love her, but you are completely correct. I hope she moves differently, because it is losing value. It's highly competitive out here and she gotta try," another echoed.
However, not everyone believes it.
"It's people like youbwho are the reason why there are people in this earth who come out thinking that the more they elevate, the less they associate & detach themselves from people they think they are better than. People like you are why the world is selfish & superficial," a fan responded.
"By this alone it's clear that you are not actually a fan of hers," a user pointed out.

Latto Wants To Still Collaborate With 'Unknown' Artists
Responding to the tweet, Latto hammered down the sentiment, standing by her decision.
"Y'all be getting besides y'all self..Shawty from the south side & she hard af Idc bout allat," she tweeted. "I was an 'unknown artist' before and mfs acted too big for me. Stream when we drop."
Sadly, Latto's sentiment still divides her fanbase.
