Recently, Classicalite asked the following: "Wouldn't You Like to Write a Piece for the London Sinfonietta's RSVP?"

Well, some 355 compositions from 170 composers--sent in from 20 countries on 5 continents--was the response.

The selection panel, featuring London Sinfonietta principal players and associated composers, will be meeting soon to decide which pieces will be performed on September 15 at the Kings Place Festival. A selection of the most visually stimulating postcards will also be on display at the concert.

Until then, here's two and twenty of our favorite RSVPs (aside from "Having Never Written a Note for Jerome Caja," of course)
