Ari Lennox went live on Instagram to voice her concerns about touring with Rod Wave. Throughout the tour, Lennox had been disrespected and assaulted by audience members and how she initially thought this would be a good opportunity for her to expand her audience.

Unfortunately, this was proven to not be the case because each show had a new situation in-store for Lennox. From show to show, Lennox had seen signs on cell phones saying "NEXT" or "GET THAT B****OFF STAGE" while she was opening for Wave. The singer even recalled having water thrown on her and having her wardrobe stolen.

On this tour, Lennox felt uneasy because not only was this not her audience, but was an entirely different genre compared to the audience she faced on her own tour.

"I was never comfortable. I just remember every show, just racing to get off stage, racing to get through my set," Lennox explained.

Looking back now as the Nostalgic Tour is over, Lennox realizes this was a bad decision on her part and her management's part. During the Instagram live, Lennox recalls how traumatic the experience was and how she would not do something like this again.

"I was wrong and now I get why noone does it not make sense to open up for anybody... I've watched it with Rico Nasty, same s**. There's a certain type of fan base that you're like, literally aggressive, I'm OK. I'm good," Lennox said.

Many fans shared their views siding with Lennox about how this was a bad decision and a doomed mission from the start. Some fans even say Lennox should've continued with her own tours as she did in previous years.

Twitter user @SonnyDigital explained how he believes Lennox should host her own tour because her music and Rod Wave's music aren't attracting the same crowds.

He wrote, "I honestly just think she should do her own tour for her fans. I'm sure the bulk majority of ppl were there to see the headline Rod Wave. I think even more people was anticipating just seeing Rod Wave fall from the building after it started to viral. Ari is popping enough to do her own tour I think esp the way that yall online got her back it shows she has support. The venues might not be arena's but it doesn't have to be for her to be a successful touring artist. Just hit your target market, that's the key!"
