Kendrick Lamar, Bilal Perform New Song 'Money Over Love'
Kendrick Lamar has been living large since the release of his critically acclaimed album, 'To Pimp A Butterfly.' Despite not going on a major tour as of yet, he has still been able to keep the album relevant in the frenetic 24-hour news cycle. On Friday night at the Regent Theater in Los Angeles, K.Dot. performed a private show at the Linear Labs Launch party with a full backing band, Bilal and Adrian Younge. The "King Kunta" rapper used the opportunity to show off some new music. He performed a new song with TPAB collaborator Bilal, who was on hand that night, titled "Money Over Love." There aren't many details about the collab, but from what we can hear, it has the same funky sound found on "Institutionalized" with a similar social consciousness found in their original collab.
