• Sinead O'Connor Attempted Suicide After Facebook Note, Now Safe Per Reports

    Irish singer Sinead O'Connor has been through a lot over the past 48 hours and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. After posting a lengthy suicide note to her Facebook page yesterday morning (November 29), the artist supposedly attempted suicide by overdosing in an Irish hostel prior to being nursed back to health under medical supervision. She is now safe and sound.

    We almost need a flow chart to keep things straight with the cast of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood." In the season finale, which aired last week, it looked like Ray J had dumped his girlfriend of two years, Princess Love, in order to reconnect with Teairra Mari. When the reunion shows aired this week, it was clear Ray and Love were back together, but a bit of drama has gone down this week that led him to call 911, thinking she was going to kill herself. According to a report by TMZ, Ray broke up with Love Tuesday night, Dec. 9, and by Wednesday, Dec. 10, photos of him getting cozy with Karrueche Tran had surfaced. Needless to say, that did not sit well with her and Love reportedly threatened to kill herself. Ray called 911 and had authorities come out to the home he was sharing with Love to perform a welfare check. She was not at home when the police arrived and supposedly called Ray to reassure him she was not really going to shoot herself.

    On Monday, Dec. 8, we told you about the sad murder-suicide of Stephanie Moseley and her husband Earl Hayes. The couple were reportedly working on a reconciliation when things turned violent in their upscale Hollywood apartment. Hayes was reportedly FaceTiming with Floyd Mayweather about Moseley's alleged infidelity when he totally lost it. The aspiring rapper supposedly walked into the bathroom where Moseley was bathing and began firing shots before turning the gun on himself. We are also now learning that when searching the apartment police uncovered 10 pounds of marijuana. According to a report by TMZ, it was an enormous stash with a street value of about $40,000 and it had to be removed from the property by an armed guard. Police confirm that this was most certainly not just for personal use but that it was for dealing and distribution. While Moseley had a successful career as a star of VH1's "Hit the Floor" and had toured with various stars such as Usher and Britney Spears, there were a few recent tweets by her regarding money concerns.

    Next May will mark the third edition of Seether's Rise Above Fest, which raises money for suicide awareness. The first two go-rounds were solid — the group raised roughly $70,000 total for the cause — but this spring is sure to be the biggest spectacle yet in Bangor, Maine. The group has already recruited Godsmack, Slash and Papa Roach, among others. "It seems to be picking up a lot more steam, to a point where it's certainly bigger than we were thinking it was ever going to become," Seether's Shaun Morgan told "Billboard." The site reports Morgan was inspired to start the festival after his brother succumbed to depression and committed suicide in 2007. "I think there's going to be a lot more turnout, even, just judging by the bands who are going to be on the bill," Morgan said. "They're certainly of a very high caliber and a very high standard — not that the ones before weren't, but we're getting big names involved now, so that's really kind of exciting."

Champion fighter, Floyd Mayweather was actually on FaceTime with Hayes, trying to calm him down, when Hayes killed Moseley and then turned the gun on himself.
